What it does
The exhale at the end of the day.
The first step in healthy skin isn’t cleansing harder — it’s cleansing smarter.
Moonlight Milk dissolves makeup, sunscreen, excess oil and the day’s buildup while leaving the skin’s lipid barrier intact. Add water and the balm becomes a lightweight milk that washes away clean, so nothing is left sitting on the skin.
What you’ll notice
- Makeup and sunscreen dissolve without scrubbing
- Skin feels conditioned, not coated
- No tightness and no greasy film
- Lipid barrier left where it should be
- An evening step worth slowing down for
The formula
Oils chosen for what they leave behind.
A cleansing balm is mostly oils, and which oils you choose is the whole formula. These were picked to dissolve the day and condition the skin on the way out.
Jojoba Oil
Softens and conditions while helping dissolve oil-based buildup. Closer to skin’s own sebum than almost anything else in the plant world, which is why it lifts oil without disrupting the barrier.
Camellia Oil
Lightweight emollient support with a mild astringency — conditioning, without the heaviness that makes some balms hard to rinse.
Mango Seed Butter
Rich in fatty acids that nourish and soften. It is what gives the balm its cushion before the water goes on.
Black Cumin Seed Oil
Antioxidant-rich botanical conditioning, long used for stressed and reactive skin.
California-Grown Herbal Complex™
A whole-plant blend of calendula, rose, lemon balm, comfrey, plantain, chamomile, lavender and yarrow, chosen to comfort and condition the skin.
How to use
Four ways to use it.
Massage onto dry skin for one to two minutes. Add water with your fingertips to emulsify, then rinse or remove with a warm, damp towel.

Founder note
A note from Tami
“I wanted Moonlight Milk to feel like the exhale at the end of the day.
A cleanser that fully dissolves makeup, sunscreen and buildup while turning the evening cleanse into a calming ritual instead of another step to rush through.”

Questions
Good to know
Will it remove waterproof makeup?
Yes. It dissolves long-wear makeup, sunscreen and excess oil. For heavier eye makeup, let the balm sit for a few seconds before massaging.
Do I have to double cleanse?
No. It washes away clean on its own. Plenty of people use it as their only evening cleanser; others follow with Marigold Morning.
Can I cleanse twice with it?
Yes, and it is a lovely ritual for dry, depleted or barrier-stressed skin that wants the extra lipids.
Will it leave my skin oily?
No. Once water is added it becomes a lightweight milk that washes away clean, leaving skin soft rather than coated.
Why does it turn milky when I add water?
That is the balm emulsifying. It is what allows makeup, sunscreen, oil and buildup to rinse away completely instead of smearing.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. It was made with sensitive and barrier-stressed skin in mind, cleansing thoroughly while supporting the lipid barrier.
Can I use it around my eyes?
Yes. Massage gently around the eye area to dissolve makeup, taking care not to get product directly in the eyes.
Can I use it after professional treatments?
Yes. Its nourishing formula suits skin that needs extra comfort. Always follow your provider’s post-treatment recommendations.
