Bright Side

What it does

Vitamin C without the trade-off.

Traditional L-ascorbic acid works, but it needs a low pH to do it — and that is exactly what makes it too much for a lot of skin.

Bright Side uses two stable derivatives instead: one oil-soluble, one water-soluble, reaching the skin by different routes. Niacinamide and botanical extracts sit alongside them to keep the whole thing comfortable enough to use every single morning.

What you’ll notice

  • A brighter, more even-looking tone
  • Softer-looking dark spots and post-blemish marks
  • Skin that looks more awake by mid-morning
  • Comfort, even on reactive skin
  • Antioxidant support against daily environmental stress

The formula

Two forms of vitamin C, not one.

Tami has always loved vitamin C, and always known that traditional ascorbic acid is too much for some skin. Bright Side pairs two complementary derivatives with a brightening peptide and compatible botanicals — the benefits, in a barrier-conscious formulation.

10% Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate

An oil-soluble vitamin C derivative that supports visible brightness and antioxidant defence — and reaches skin through the lipid route rather than needing a low pH.

4% 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid

A stable, water-soluble form that helps improve the appearance of uneven tone and radiance. Two forms, two pathways — which is the whole idea.

Niacinamide

Supports barrier function while helping improve the look of uneven tone and texture. It is also part of why the serum stays comfortable.

Bearberry + Mulberry Extracts

Botanical extracts chosen to support a brighter, more even-looking complexion.

Amla Extract

Antioxidant-rich botanical support for skin that spends its days exposed to environmental stress.

How to use

Every morning, in that order.

Apply 1–2 pumps to clean skin in the morning. Follow with moisturizer or face oil as needed, and finish with SPF.

Founder note

A note from Tami

“I’ve always loved vitamin C, but I also know that traditional ascorbic acid formulas can be too much for some skin types.

I wanted Bright Side to give you the benefits I love about vitamin C in a barrier-conscious formulation. So I chose two complementary forms, paired them with a brightening peptide and some of my favourite compatible botanicals, and created something that feels beautiful, works, and is easy to use every morning.”

Questions

Before you start

Why not L-ascorbic acid?

It needs a low pH to stay active, and that is what makes it sting or flush some skin. The two derivatives here are stable at a comfortable pH and reach the skin by different routes.

Will it tingle?

It should not. That is rather the point of the formula.

Morning or evening?

Morning. Antioxidants earn their keep during the day, under SPF.

Can I use it with exfoliating acids?

Yes, but keep them in separate routines — acids in the evening, Bright Side in the morning.

Does it replace sunscreen?

No. Antioxidants and sunscreen do different jobs. Use both.

Will it help with post-blemish marks?

It is formulated to support a brighter, more even-looking complexion, including the appearance of post-blemish discoloration. Consistency over months matters more than strength.

Where does the orange scent come from?

Under 0.5% essential oils in the formula, not added fragrance.
