Face Oils are Good for Oily, Acne Prone Skin
Skin that is acne prone, oily and or dry lacks linoleic acid. Linoleic acid (LA) is an omega 6 fatty acid that plays a big role in your skin's health. When the skin’s fatty acid profile is unbalanced it impairs the skin barrier from functioning optimally to protect against bacteria, chemicals and pollution.

Our body does not produce linoleic acid so we must get it from our diet or applied topically. In oily/acneic skin, linoleic rich oils such as grapeseed, sunflower and cranberry help to balance overactive sebum production. Oily skin over produces monounsaturated palmitoleic and sapienic acid (sebum) that clog the hair follicles and trap bacteria, causing inflammation and acne. It lacks linoleic acid to keep things balanced.

When you apply linoleic rich oils, you normalize oil production and bring your skin back into balance. In dry skin, linoleic rich oils build up the skin’s barrier, moisturize, condition the cells and deliver beneficial ingredients to the skin layers. Oils rich in linoleic acid absorb quickly so your skin doesn't look and feel oily.

Our Freedom Fighter Face Oil is the supplement your skin has been craving. It's loaded with super fruit oils and nourishing plant extracts to feed your skin antioxidants, essential fatty acids (linoleic) and other beneficial ingredients. Apply with Ramblin Rose Hydrating Serum or Mama Pacha Moisture Cream for a necessary boost in good omegas!

Use 1 drop for severely oily skin initially while your skin adjusts to the use of plant oils. Once oil production is normalized you can boost this to 2 drops if needed.

For dry skin 2-5 drops is perfect over your serums or moisturizers. #GlowWhereYouGo
