Sodalite Spiked Facial Roller

  • Releases jaw and facial tension
  • Drains puffiness and boosts circulation
  • Softens the look of fine lines over time
  • Cool, calming sodalite stone
  • Two minutes a day

How it works

Pressure, movement, release.

A smooth roller glides. A spiked one works. The sodalite spikes press gently into the fascia — the connective tissue that tightens with stress, screens and clenching — and encourage it to let go, while the rolling motion moves lymphatic fluid towards the drainage points at the neck.

Used over a face oil, it is a two-minute facial massage: circulation up, puffiness down, muscles longer and softer. Blue sodalite is a stone traditionally associated with calm and emotional balance, which feels right for something you use at the end of the day.

What you'll notice

  • A looser jaw and softer expression lines
  • Less morning puffiness around eyes and cheeks
  • A warm, circulated glow after use
  • A moment of calm built into the routine

How to use

Two minutes, upward and outward.

Always over a face oil so the roller glides rather than drags.

  1. Step one

    Prep

Cleanse, then press three or four drops of Freedom Fighter or Nature + Nurture over the face and neck.

  2. Step two

    Neck first

Roll down the sides of the neck a few times to open the drainage points.

  3. Step three

    Jaw and cheeks

From the centre of the chin along the jaw to the ear; from the nose across the cheek to the temple. Five passes each side, light pressure.

  4. Step four

    Brow and forehead

From the brow up to the hairline, then out to the temples. Finish with a few strokes back down the neck.

Tension days

Spend longer along the jaw and in front of the ears — where clenching lives — and let the spikes sit still for a breath before rolling on.

Questions

Good to know

Does it hurt?

No. The spikes are rounded and the pressure is yours to control. It should feel like a firm, pleasant massage.

Roller or gua sha?

The roller is quicker and easier to learn; gua sha goes deeper and sculpts more. Many people use the roller daily and gua sha two or three times a week.

Can I use it without oil?

Better not — dry rolling drags the skin. A few drops of oil is all it needs.

How do I clean it?

Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap after use, dry, and store in its pouch. It will last for years.

Can I keep it in the fridge?

Yes — a cold roller is wonderful for morning puffiness.
