What it does
Smoother, brighter, clearer.
Moment of Clarity was reformulated to give skin an effective reset without the harsh, drying experience often associated with exfoliating treatments.
Three acids lift away dull surface buildup, smooth visible texture, clear congested pores and soften the look of uneven tone. Ectoin, panthenol, hyaluronic acid and cucumber hydrosol work alongside them so skin stays soft, balanced and comfortable throughout.
What you’ll notice
- Softer, smoother-feeling skin
- A brighter, more even-looking tone
- Less visible congestion and buildup
- More refined-looking pores
- A fresh glow, without tightness or dryness
The formula
Three acids. Three different jobs.
Mandelic acid serums are everywhere, and for good reason. But instead of building Moment of Clarity around mandelic alone, Tami blended three acids that approach exfoliation, discoloration and congestion from different angles — rather than asking one ingredient to do all the work.
Mandelic Acid
A larger-molecule AHA that exfoliates gradually, improving the look of uneven texture, congestion and visible discoloration. Its size is the point — it works more slowly and with less disruption than smaller acids.
Lactic Acid
An AHA that supports surface renewal while helping maintain hydration, so skin looks refreshed rather than stripped.
Salicylic Acid
An oil-loving BHA that helps loosen buildup within the pore and clarify congestion — reaching where the water-soluble acids cannot.
Ectoin
An extremolyte known for supporting hydration, barrier function and skin resilience under environmental stress. It carries comfort through the correction.
Cucumber + Rose Distillates
Gently astringent botanical waters that hydrate, refresh and tone — and give the formula its quiet, barely-there aroma.
California-Grown Herbal Complex™
A glycerin infusion of calendula, green tea, gotu kola and rose petals, selected to calm and support the skin barrier.

- Step one
Cleanse
Start on clean, dry skin in the evening.
- Step two
Apply
1–2 pumps over face, neck and décolleté, avoiding the eye area. Use all over, or concentrate on areas prone to congestion.
- Step three
Replenish
Follow with Milk + Tansy Bi-Phase Essence and Balanced Being Barrier Cream to restore hydration and support the barrier.
- Every morning
Protect
Apply a broad-spectrum SPF daily while you are using exfoliating acids.
A note on frequency
Begin with two or three evenings a week and increase only when your skin still feels comfortable. Sensitive skin can start once or twice a week. Nightly exfoliation is not necessary for results — consistency matters more than frequency.
Founder note
A note from Tami
“As an esthetician, exfoliation has always been one of my favourite ways to transform the look and feel of the skin. But I have never believed skin has to suffer to get results.
When I reformulated Moment of Clarity, I wanted an exfoliating treatment that could smooth texture, brighten dullness and clear congestion while keeping hydration and comfort at the centre.
This formula gives skin a fresh start without leaving it feeling stripped, tight or overworked.”

Questions
Before you start
Is Moment of Clarity a toner?
No. It is a lightweight, water-based resurfacing serum used after cleansing. It smooths, clarifies and brightens rather than simply refreshing the skin the way a traditional toner does.
Which exfoliating acids does it contain?
Mandelic, lactic and salicylic acids at 8% combined, chosen to address dullness, rough texture, congestion, visible pores and uneven tone from different angles.
Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
The formula includes hydrating and calming ingredients to support skin comfort. If your skin is sensitive, begin with one or two uses per week and increase slowly as tolerated.
How often should I use it?
Start with two or three evenings per week. Increase gradually, up to five nights or more, only while your skin stays comfortable.
Can I use it every night?
Some skin tolerates more frequent use, but nightly exfoliation is not necessary for everyone. Adjust based on how your skin feels rather than a fixed schedule.
Can I use it with a retinoid?
Use them on alternate nights, especially if your skin is sensitive or you are new to acids and retinoids.
Can I use it when I have breakouts?
Yes. Mandelic and salicylic acids help support congested and blemish-prone skin. Do not apply to broken or severely irritated skin.
Will it dry out my skin?
It includes ectoin, panthenol, hyaluronic acid, aloe, glycerin and hydrosols to support hydration and comfort. Overuse can still cause dryness, so begin slowly.
When does it go in my routine?
In the evening, after cleansing and before serums, moisturizer and facial oil.
Do I need SPF?
Yes. Use a broad-spectrum SPF daily while using exfoliating acids.
Can I use it while pregnant or nursing?
Because the formula contains salicylic acid, consult your physician before use while pregnant or nursing.
