How to use
Prep
Cleanse, then press three or four drops of Freedom Fighter or Nature + Nurture over the face and neck.
Neck first
Roll down the sides of the neck a few times to open the drainage points.
Jaw and cheeks
From the centre of the chin along the jaw to the ear; from the nose across the cheek to the temple. Five passes each side, light pressure.
Brow and forehead
From the brow up to the hairline, then out to the temples. Finish with a few strokes back down the neck.
Tension days
Spend longer along the jaw and in front of the ears — where clenching lives — and let the spikes sit still for a breath before rolling on.
Good to know
How much pressure should I use?
Keep pressure light and comfortable. Reduce pressure or stop if the massage feels uncomfortable.
How is it different from gua sha?
The roller offers a rolling massage; gua sha uses the edge of a smooth stone. Choose the method you prefer.
Can I use it without oil?
Better not — dry rolling drags the skin. A few drops of oil is all it needs.
How do I clean it?
Wipe clean after use, dry thoroughly and store in its pouch. Follow the care directions included with the tool.
Can I keep it in the fridge?
Yes — a cold roller is wonderful for morning puffiness.
